At Home Services

A home visit provides personalized, hands-on lactation support in the comfort of your own environment.

Guidance is then tailored to your specific goals, with practical adjustments, education, and a clear plan of care to support feeding success and address any concerns. You will receive a visit summary with helpful notes to reference at the end of your visit.

  • A prenatal home visit ($120) is a personalized 1 hour in-home consultation designed to prepare you for breastfeeding before your baby arrives.

We’ll cover what to expect, build a feeding plan, address any concerns, and help you feel confident and supported for your postpartum journey.

We can also order supplies like a breast pump through your insurance together.

  • An initial home visit ($200) is typically a 1.5 hour home consultation. A full feeding assessment is completed, including observing a feeding, evaluating latch and positioning, assessing milk transfer, and reviewing infant weight, output, and overall feeding patterns.

  • A follow-up home visit ($135) is a 1 hour in-home consultation that focuses on reassessing progress and refining your feeding plan based on how things have been going.

Feeding is usually observed again, with adjustments made to latch, positioning, or technique as needed, and infant weight and intake are reviewed to ensure continued growth.

Ongoing support, troubleshooting, and updated guidance are provided to help you move forward with confidence and meet your feeding goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We try to observe the entire feeding at visits- but don’t wait if you think baby needs to eat prior! If we want to get exact measurement of baby’s milk intake, we need a weight with an empty belly.

I’ll need a flat surface for my scale but that’s about it. Also please keep any pumping or feeding records handy.

  • Please complete intake forms at least 24 hours before your visit. This confirms your appointment and allows the consultant to review your health history and your baby’s details—essential for providing the best, personalized support during your visit.

  • Absolutely! We can arrange in-person visits at a convenient public location, your workplace, or another safe, comfortable setting. The same hands-on guidance and support apply—just outside the home.
